Sectionals

I improved on the beginning and 57 of Bandology and I still need to work on 41 of Bandology. Then in Spirit of the Falcon I am getting better on 90 but it still needs work. That is what I improved on and still need to work on. We were all very productive in are sectional.

Christmas Concert

On Wednesday, December 3, my band had a Christmas concert. Over all I think we did well, I know many people enjoyed the variety of songs, new and old, but we made mistakes. One for example was playing in a new reed for the wood winds. On the musical side of things we did decent, but we could have done better on are dynamics and are tempo. Also on some songs we could have cleaned up some rhythms. I know that sounds like we did terrible but we didn’t. We have improved so much over the past month or so that it’s hard to believe. I’m so proud of Farwell High School Band! Great concert guys!

2014-2015 Concert Season

This concert season we are doing a variety on songs. I think I am do well for being a Freshman, but I still need to work on being louder on Frozen and the 2nd measure of White Christmas. Also the 5th and 6th measures of E in White Christmas.
As a hole section I think the Clarinets are doing extremely well along with the rest of the band. The Clarinets need to continue to work on White Christmas and playing the right dynamics depending on witch part you have. For example 1st Clarinets need to play quieter, the 3rd Clarinets need to play louder, and the 2nd Clarinets need to play the in the middle. That’s how we are coming along this season. Keep up the good work! 👍
